THE OC star ADAM
BRODY was inspired to become an actor after watching RYAN PHILLIPPE
in the film I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER.
While the majority of his counterparts credit
more profound projects for inspiring them, Brody admits the 1997
thriller - which starred JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT - led to his life-changing
decision to pursue a career in entertainment.
He says, "Truly,
I wish I could tell you that... (ROBERT) DE NIRO in RAGING
BULL changed my life. It's not true at all. It's actually
maybe like Ryan Phillippe in I Know What You Did Last Summer.
"I saw that and
I said, 'Those kids are having so much more fun than I am and
it seems like such a great thing.' And truly, that was like
a huge inspiration in me moving up (to Los Angeles) and trying
to act.
"I wanted to
date Jennifer Love Hewitt and I wanted to have a BMW like they did
in that movie."
