Mischa Barton, who plays Marissa
Cooper in the hit TV show The OC, will be seen in a starring role
in the new James Blunt video ‘Goodbye My Lover’.
The video was filmed on October
28th in Los Angeles by director Sam Brown. Brown also directed Blunt’s
‘High’ and ‘You’re Beautiful’. He
has also done clips for Texas, The Doves, Elbow and Armand Van Helden.
Before The OC, Barton had parts in the
movies ‘Notting Hill’ and ‘The Sixth Sense’
and has appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Live with
Regis and Kathy Lee, Late Show with David Letterman and The
Ellen DeGeneres Show.
‘Goodbye My
Lover’ is the third single from Blunt’s album ‘Back
To Bedlam’. The album has sold more than 2 million units
in the UK this year and is expected to be the biggest selling
album in England for 2005.
