Kelly Rowan, best known for her role as Kirsten
Cohen on the Fox series "The O.C.," has been tapped to
star in the Lifetime TV movie "Eight Days to Live," a
true-life story that just went into production.
Rowan will portray Teresa Spring, whose family
spent more than a week in 2001 searching for her son after he went
missing for eight days when his car drifted off the highway down
a steep embankment in the rough interior of British Columbia.
The movie is
shooting in Canada, and will air at a date yet to be determined.
Rowan also has appeared in the feature films "Hook"
with Dustin Hoffman and "187" with Samuel L. Jackson.
