singer Chris Brown has landed a seven episode arc on The OC for
Season 4. Chris said the producers of the show contacted his management
and he jumped at the idea of becoming a new cast member. His role
on The OC is said to be that of a band geek.
In a recent article on MTV.com he says “I
play, like, a band geek — I’m really stepping out of
my own character,” he said. “I was kind of a geek in
school, grade-wise. But style-wise, I was always popular and cool.
But on the show I’m geeked out all the way. I’m just
trying to be myself and then be the character the role calls for.
I don’t look at it like this role takes away from who I am.”
At the age of 17 Chris already
has a self-title platinum album to his credit. Other then
music videos Chris is relatively new to Television. He made
a short appearance on UPN’s One on One in March 2006
and has a movie coming out in January of 2007 called Steppin
where he plays an ambitious dancer who is the younger brother
of the main character.
