‘The
O.C.’ lures the hip with fresh sounds, soundtracks

When Fox’s "The O.C." returns
Nov. 4, look for a new set and lots of new music. The set will be
a club called The Bait Shop, with a bar and a stage.
"It’s obviously
a tip to the Newport beach location. It’s on a dock,
and it’s really great-looking, incredibly authentic,"
says music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas. "The characters
will be seeing ‘live’ music."
So far, four acts have been lined up: The Walkmen, Modest
Mouse, The Killers and The Thrills. Each group will play
two songs, although not all of each song will be shown.
