'It Girl' Mischa Barton and Celebrity Stylist Phillip Bloch Unveil the 2004 Holiday 'It List'
December 8, 2004
Even though it may be cold outside, The Gillette Company has heated up the holidays by enlisting two Hollywood insiders to compile an "It List" of this season's hottest gifts. Actress and "It Girl" Mischa Barton and celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch have teamed up to share the inside scoop on gifts they'll be giving, and what they're hoping to find under the tree this year
The 2004 Holiday "It List" is the official guide to the best grooming, fashion and electronic gifts that every hipster, housewife and high-powered executive is hoping for this holiday season.
The development of this best-in- class holiday list was inspired by the revolutionary Gillette M3Power, a pulsating razor that provides the world's closest shave, which Barton says makes a perfect stocking stuffer. Barton and Bloch expanded the list by identifying other hot holiday gifts this year

"It's no secret that I love to shop, but it's hard when you're trying to find the perfect presents for your friends and family," said Barton, star of the hit series "The O.C." "This list has the coolest gifts for any guy or girl -- from my Mom and Dad to my cast mates and friends. They're so cool, I might just have to get a few things for myself."
The 2004 Holiday "It List" includes:
1. Gillette M3Power shaving system -- $14.99
2. Hamilton watch -- $595.00
3. Timberland Mukluk boots -- $180.00
4. Aeropostale Faux-Fur Puff jacket -- $50.00
5. "The O.C." first season DVD collection -- $48.99
6. HP iPod with designer "tattoos" -- $299.99
7. Nintendo Dual-Screen DS handheld video gaming system -- $149.99
8. Burton headphone snowboard beanie -- $39.95
9. Velvet blazer by Hilfiger -- $350.00
10. Diamond brooch by Fortunoff -- $750.00
11. Diamond cufflinks from Daniel K -- $200,000.00
12. Fur stole from Adrienne Landau -- $295.00

."The celebrities that I work with in Los Angeles and New York City are on top of the current trends," said trendsetter Phillip Bloch. "This list is the perfect guide to help anyone inject a little dose of Hollywood-hip into the holidays this year."
All products included on the list are available at retail outlets nationwide and range in price from $14.99 (M3Power) to $200,000 (Daniel K diamond cufflinks).
